Tearing down walls.

(All bracketed information is added by me and is not in the original quotation or verse.)

"The first man who, having fenced in a piece of land, said 'This is mine,' and found people naive enough to believe him, that man was the true founder of civil society [according to Rousseau (and Freud) an unhealthy, i.e. "neurotic" society]. From how many crimes, wars, and murders, from how many horrors and misfortunes might not any one have saved mankind, by pulling up the stakes, or filling up the ditch, and crying to his fellows: Beware of listening to this impostor; you are undone if you once forget that the fruits of the earth [including (and especially) "the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil" and therefore the garden] belongs to all of us, and the earth itself to nobody." (Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Discourse on Inequality) This from a man who could not tell the difference between a married and unmarried woman, having them all for his own carnal pleasures. "Belongs to all of us" to a socialist means "belongs to me."

"That is why the greatest danger of all is to allow new walls to divide us from one another. The walls between old allies on either side of the Atlantic can not stand."  "The walls between the countries with the most and those with the least can not stand."  "The walls between races and tribes, natives and immigrants, Christians and Muslims and Jews can not stand.  These hallowed walls we must tear down." (Obama in Berlin, July, 2008.)

When Karl Marx stated that the King's horse is the peoples' horse ("The proletariat ["the children of disobedience"] thus has the same right as has the German king when he calls, the people his people and a horse his horse."  Karl Marx, Critique of 'Hegel's' Philosophy of Right) he was stating what the woman in the garden in Eden stated, i.e. "God's tree" is everyone's ("the peoples") tree, i.e. the King (the Father, the Nation), or God has no "right" to say "Mine, Not yours," i.e. all things belong to man himself alone (collectively), in heaven and on earth.  Worldly peace and socialist harmony is built upon the negation of private, i.e. the negation of "Mine, Not yours,"  replacing it with "Ours, not just yours."  This is the hallmark of Marxist AKA communist (common-ism), community (common-unity) thinking and acting.  Therefore all walls or boundaries or borders which divide or separate people from people (separate them from that which they have in common, i.e. their carnal "human nature") must be removed (torn down), for the "goodness" of all mankind.  Any above-below, right-wrong, sheep-goats, heaven-hell, my land-not your land, my wife not your wife, my children-not your children, God over man division must be negated.  The authority of our Heavenly Father and His Son must be therefore negated in the thoughts and actions of men if man is to create socialist harmony and worldly peace.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

"And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." John 8:23-24

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine."
John 10:1-14

We have chosen instead the way of the world, making the "enjoyment" of this world reality alone ("To enjoy the present reconciles us to the actual..." "The justice of state constitutions is to be decided not on the basis of Christianity [a "top-down" order as Jesus, i.e. the only begotten Son of God, who, though being equal with God, became as a man and humbled himself before His Heavenly Father, i.e. "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."  John 5:30 showing all men how we are to think and act, i.e. "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." Matthew 12:50], not from the nature of Christian society but from the nature of human society ["equality" is man making decisions and acting in accordance to his carnal "human nature" alone]." "The state arises out of the exigencies [the "sensuous needs," "sense perception," and "sense experience," Karl Marx] of man's nature [of nature only]."  (Comments by Joseph O'Malley Ed. Karl Marx, Critique of Hegel's Philosophy of Right), making ourselves the enemy of God.

"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life ["human nature" and "human 'reasoning,'" i.e. man's perception that he can "control" himself and the world according to his "sensuous 'needs" and 'reasoning' abilities alone], is not of the Father, but is of the world." 1 John 2:16

"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." James 4:4

"For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof." 1 Corinthians 10:26

We have chosen instead the way (the heresiarchal paradigm of 'change') of Godless men:

"On account of the absolute and natural oneness [their common carnal "human nature," their common "lust" for or "enjoyment" of the things of this world] of the husband, the wife, and the child, where there is no antithesis ["above-below" order or hierarchy restraining "human nature"] of person to person or of subject to object, the surplus is not the property of one of them [negating private, making all things public], since their indifference ["Mine. Not yours."] is not a formal or a legal one."  (George Hegel, System of Ethical Life)  And you thought Karl Marx came up with the idea of "the public" negating "the private," as in "the people" negating private property, private business, private family ("parochial"), etc. now called communitarianism, democratization, conscietization, i.e. "Our land, not just yours," (accomplished through the consensus process being put into praxis, i.e. "human nature" being 'liberated' from the "guilty conscience," i.e. from the voice of the Father in the brain, and then put into social action unrestrained by (no longer conscious of) righteousness, negating righteousness). "The individual accepts the new system of values and beliefs ['changes' his paradigm, i.e. his way of thinking from "above-below" to "common-ism,"  from righteousness to sensuousness, from "top-down" to "equality," from capitulation (capitalism) to the brotherhood (fraternité, socialism, "the children of disobedience united in 'purpose') negating the Fathers' authority (capitalism)] by accepting belongingness to the group [where a person experiences for himself and augments for others 1) liberté from the Father's authority, 2) égalité with all mankind in the "light" of man's own carnal "human nature" and his dialectic 'reasoning' (ability used to justify it), and 3) engendering harmony with the fraternité (at-oneness-with "the children of disobedience") in and through the use of the consensus process]" (Kurt Lewin Human Relations in Curriculum Change, Ed. by Kenneth Benne)

"Adult sexuality [Freud considered all children sexually active], restricted by rules [the Father ruling over his family well, the wife submitting to her husband, the children obeying their parents, in the Lord] to maintain family and society [a "top-down" order under God], is a clear instance of that subordination of the pleasure-principle ["human nature"] to the reality principle [a "top-down" order, under God] which is repression; and therefore leads to neurosis [i.e. belief-action dichotomy, where man behaves in defiance to his belief and believes, obeys God or Father, in defiance to his behavior, restraining  his carnal "human nature"]."  (Norman O. Brown,  Life Against Death: The Psychoanalytical Meaning of History)

An act or condition of neurosis is: "Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord."  Ephesians 6:1-4

"The child [the sensuous and spontaneous nature of the "child within," i.e. prior to and therefore uninhibited by parental commands and the fear of chastening for disobedience, i.e. the "guilty conscience"], contrary to appearance, is the absolute, the rationality of the relationship; he is what is enduring and everlasting, the totality which produces itself once again as such."  (George Hegel, System of Ethical Life)

"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin [to the flesh, mammon] unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness [to the Father through His only begotten Son who obeyed (obeys) his Father in all things, calling us to do the same, in Him, i.e. imputing His righteousness upon us who have faith in Him]? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness."  Romans 8:16-18

When the child (his "natural inclination" to be-at-one-with the world in pleasure, in the 'moment,' i.e. unrighteousness) becomes the standard whereby to measure ethics, then children (who don't know the value of a dollar) end up ruling the world. How far are we into debt?

"And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable."  "As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths."  Isaiah 3:4-5, 12

"In a democratic society a patriarchal culture [a Father's authority, i.e. private as in private business, i.e. "My land, My business, My children. Not your land, business, children. etc.] should make us depressed instead of glad; it is an argument against the higher possibilities of human nature, of self actualization [of children in adult bodies, "lusting" after the things of the world, becoming one-with-the world, controlling and being controlled by the world]." "In our democratic society, any enterprise―any individual―has its obligations to the whole ["It is not individualism that fulfills the individual, on the contrary it destroys him.  Society is the necessary framework through which freedom and individuality are made realities" Karl Marx   "... once you can identify a community [where the super-ego, i.e. the voice of "the village" in the brain, augmenting "human nature," i.e. an order of "equality," is developed], you have discovered the primary unity of society above the individual and the family [above the "top-down" order of the Patriarchal Paradigm, which develops the conscience, i.e. the voice of the Father in the brain, restraining "human nature,""What we call 'conscience' perpetuates inside of us our bondage to past objects [the Father's commands] now part of ourselves:  the superego 'unites in itself the influences of the present [our carnal desires 'liberated' from the restrains of our Father in the past] and of the past.'" "The guilty conscience is formed in childhood by the incorporation of the parents and the wish to be father of oneself." "By 'dialectical' I mean an activity of consciousness struggling to circumvent the limitations imposed by the formal-logical law of contradiction [circumventing (through dialoguing opinions to a consensus and putting that consensus into social action, i.e. praxis) the "guilty conscience" which was developed through honoring the Father and his authority and obeying His commands without question]." "Human consciousness can be liberated from the parental complex only be being liberated from its cultural derivatives, the paternalistic state and the patriarchal God."  Norman O. Brown, Life Against Death: The Psychoanalytical Meaning of History] that can be mobilized ... to bring about positive social change."  Robert Trojanowicz]."  "Tax credits would be given to the company that helps to improve the whole society, and helps to improve the democracy by helping to create democratic [common-ist, anti-border, anti-walls, anti-private, anti-patriarch, anti-conscience] individuals." (Abraham Maslow, Maslow on Management)

"If a paradigm [the "new" world order] is ever to triumph it must gain some first supporters, men who will develop it to the point where hardheaded arguments can be produced and multiplied (which eventuates in) an increasing shift in the distribution of professional allegiances (where upon ) the man who continues to resist after his whole profession has been converted is ipso facto ceased to be a scientist." Thomas Kuhn The Structure of Scientific Revolutions

"Scientific knowledge [materialism, globalism based upon man's carnal nature], like language, is intrinsically the common property of a group or else nothing at all. To understand it we shall need to know the special characteristics of the groups that create and use it." Thomas Kuhn The Structure of Scientific Revolutions

"A new scientific truth [a "new" world order] does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it." Thomas Kuhn quoting Max Planck's famous dictum.

"Bypassing the traditional channels of top-down decision making, our objective centers upon .... transform public opinion into an effective instrument of global politics." "Individual values must be measured by their contribution to common interests and ultimately to world interests.... transforming public consensus into one favorable to the emergence of a stable and humanistic world order." "Consensus is both a personal and a political step. It is a precondition of all future steps..."  Ervin Laszlo  A Strategy for the Future: The Systems Approach to World Order.

The Berlin wall did not come down because Communism was defeated.  It came down because Communism succeeded.  It was Traditional Communism (the Traditional Marxist's of dialectic materialism who shot their opponents) that was defeated (for the time being) and Transformational Communism (the Transformational Marxists of historical materialism who "convert" their opponents through the consensus process) that succeeded (for the time being), both united in one cause, the negation of righteousness (through negating those made righteous in Christ) from the face of the earth so that man can be man, without God above, making himself God instead.

"George Wilhelm Hegel defined God as 'the absolute spirit becoming.'  He believed that god is without consciousness until becoming conscious in the reasoning and actions of mankind throughout history."  (Theissen, Systematic Theology-Nature and Necessity of Theology) Marx simply made God man (of "human nature" only), wherefore man can only become conscious of himself (as he is) when he unites with other men in negating that which is not of his nature, i.e. negating that condition which engenders his awareness of God, that is negating the traditional Father along with his wall of separation―protecting his children from the voices of "the village" (universality), engendering nationalism, i.e. "Mine. Not yours."

"Once the earthly family is discovered to be the secret of the Heavenly Family, the former [the "top-down" order of the Father over his family, separating them from the community, i.e. from "equality"] must be destroyed [annihilated] in theory and practice."  (Karl Marx, Feuerbach Thesis #4 )

"I asked them to criticise religion by criticising political conditions [the authority of the "earthly family"] rather than the other way about, because religion, quite empty in itself, lives from the earth and not from heaven and will disappear on its own once the inverted reality whose theory it represents [the "top-down" order of "Mine, Not yours," with its "walls" or borders or boundaries] is dissolved." (Marx to Ruge, November 1842)

When one speaks of "tearing down walls" (or "doors," as those of Sodom attempted to do with Lot, i.e. "What is yours is ours, or else, if you refuse to participate it is just ours and no longer yours."), it is not just politics that is going on here, it is "spiritual wickedness in high places."  Democracy, like tornados and hurricanes, is the praxis of tearing down walls (making all things "equal," i.e. the same) in the name of and for the 'purpose' of 'change.'

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"  Ephesians 6:10-18
